Industrial Electronics and Control Engineering is for you if you are interested in electronic and electrical engineering and how it is utilized in industry. This programme develops knowledge and understanding of core engineering principles, mathematics and computation. By graduation you will have gained transferable skills in the use of software packages, teamwork, communication, time management and problem solving, making you well-placed to undertake senior roles in industry.

This programme of study develops knowledge and understanding of core engineering principles, mathematics and computation, appropriate to the field of industrial electronics and control engineering. Students develop specialist knowledge, along with the intellectual and practical skills that lets them analyse, investigate and develop robust solutions to complex engineering problems.

SBC’s Industrial Electronics and Control Engineering students are able to choose Management modules, allowing them to graduate with a degree in Industrial Electronics and Control Engineering with Management.

• A-Level:DD (Maths for Engineering)
• IB:24 Points
• SATs: Successful completion of a High School Diploma with a GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale(or equivalent) Plus SAT Reasoning Test(also known as SAT I)with scores of 590 in each of the three tests plus Two SAT Subject Tests(also known as SAT II)with scores of 550 or above in each test.
• AP: Successful completion of a High School Diploma with a GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale(or equivalent)Plus APs with two subjects at grade 3 and one subject at grade 4

English Language Requirements

• IELTS 5.0(Additional EAP Classes needed with IELTS 5.5)
